Peace

by Shatina McCall

When I think about peace I think about my president being black. Better futures for me and my child. I think about how this world is going to be when I finish the program. Being with my child. Wanting to spend time with her. So she can grow up in a better environment. Peace is my child living a better life than I had. Peace is when all the troops from Iraq come home. Peace is knowing God – what wonderful things He can do. Peace is everything.
