I Can’t Believe My Eyes

She was up all night tossing and turning. Something was wrong. She heard noise from out the window. She began to smell smoke. She didn’t know if it was her house or her neighbor’s. She ran downstairs. She couldn’t believe her eyes! She saw cookies everywhere. She called her sister and brother, she was so happy. She smelled cookies in the kitchen. “Mom,” she said, “the cookies taste so good!”
