Two Can Play the Game

by Luz Medina, Age 15

The man with the scalded red eyes hasn’t slept for days. He is angry with the man with the sinister smirk and unjustly stance. This sinful man is the reason the poor, exhausted old man is at the edge and about to break. This old man is the hostage of the wreck of a man, not letting him sleep, eat, not even shower. The man is persistent and so is this old man. Neither one wants to give in or stop for a break. The old man finally put his foot down. “No more!” The cruel man has lost and the old man can finally go to sleep.
