DIG DEEP (our quarterly literary ezine)

Untitled

by Samaris Ayala

My sweetest companions have been clowns and angels

A park has a statue as a companion. The children
elderly and animals
all love the statue

My solitude is a companion to peace
Music is a companion to its listener
It creates a journey to imagination

Illusions of solitude appear in my dreams
Often my loneliness is an opportunity
It is a comfort rather than a perturbation
Darkness is the color of my emotions
Consequently I live my life through shadows

An outline is present, its definition is
conceived
through transparency
