NY Writers Coalition has gotten involved with the Hurricane Sandy recovery effort by way of what we do best: writing workshops. In response to the storm, we decided to provide a space for people to find community and write in a supportive environment. So, we’ve started two new free, drop-in workshops:
- Tuesdays at 5:15-7:30 p.m. at Carroll Gardens Library (396 Clinton Street) Directions here.
- Thursdays at 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the 80 Arts Building (80 Hanson Place) Directions here.
These writing groups will begin next week and are open to anyone, writers of all genres — poetry, fiction, memoir, whatever you want to write! All levels of experience are welcome and no advance sign-up is necessary. See you next week!
