Write with the Worms in South Brooklyn Children’s Garden

Tuesdays   /  4:00-5:00 p.m.   /   204 Columbia Street, Brooklyn   /   Beginning September 23

Young writers ages 6-8 write together within the beautiful South Brooklyn Children’s Garden (204 Columbia Street). This workshop offers a refreshing counterpoint to the academically focused work children practice in school each day. Young writers will improve their listening skills, build self-confidence, and increase their love of writing. They’ll craft poems and stories in a workshop designed to reduce competition, allowing writers of different ages and experience levels to write together and grow.

This workshop is open to young writers age 6-8. Parental consent and advance registration is required. All children must also be accompanied by an adult caregiver during the workshop hour.

6 Weeks  /   $125
