NYWC Workshop Leader Application

Leading a weekly writing workshop for a minimum of six months.
Remaining involved (serving on a committee, volunteering at events, or contributing to the blog) with NYWC for a minimum of one year.
Staying engaged with the NYWC staff and community, including reading emails and responding as necessary.
Participating in bi-monthly phone calls with a NYWC Program Director.
Tracking workshop attendance and submitting monthly reports.
Attending at least 3 meetings of workshop leaders each year, in addition to the annual NYWC leader retreat.
Periodically assist NYWC in conducting written evaluations of your workshop by participants, workshop site staff, and you.
Communicate (when asked to) relevant information to your workshop participants, including about NYWC events, readings, and publishing opportunities.
Communicate with NYWC staff all problems, issues, concerns, and success stories that arise in your workshops.
