The creative writing workshop is designed to allow writers of all backgrounds, ages and experience levels to work together and grow as writers. Participants write to the prompt offered by an experienced and trained leader and are encouraged to share aloud. Those who share will receive positive and supportive feedback. The workshop provides structure for writers to produce new work on a regular basis.
This event is in-person at Central Library (10 Grand Army Plaza) in the Trustees Room on the 3rd Floor, Mondays from 3:00 – 5:00 PM (ET). This workshop will meet from April 25-June 27. We do want to note that the workshop will NOT meet on May 30 and June 20 because the library will be closed for holidays.
Walk-Ins are Welcome
The workshops are sponsored by BPL/Languages & Literature and NYWC/NY Writers Coalition
