Outreach Workshops

Through partnerships with local organizations, NY Writers Coalition provides weekly workshop opportunities for people from an array of backgrounds to experience the power of writing in community. In our 20+ year history, we have held workshops in hundreds of locations for court-involved/incarcerated people, people with disabilities, seniors, LGBTQ+ people, homeless and formerly homeless people, youth, and many others. If you’d like to bring NYWC workshops to your organization, please complete the Program Partner Inquiry form.

Please note: The workshops listed below are not open to the public. For more information regarding our public programs, please visit our pages for Virtual Workshops, In-Person Workshops, the Black Writers Program, or For-Pay Workshops.
