Get ready to mark your calendars! We’re excited to offer five cycles of virtual workshops in 2023: 
  • CYCLE 1 from February 13 – March 26
  • CYCLE 2 from April 17 – May 28
  • CYCLE 3 from June 19 – July 30
  • CYCLE 4 from September 12 – October 25
  • CYCLE 5 from November 6 – December 17

Virtual Writing Workshops

Registration for our next cycle of free creative writing workshops is now LIVE!

Our virtual writing workshops run in 6-week segments, with the intention of having the same participants join each week for all of the six weeks. Thus, each workshop requires a weekly commitment from each participant.

All virtual workshop registration has moved from Eventbrite to Zoom. PLEASE CLICK the desired workshop date and time below to access the workshop registration pages. 

For 6-week workshops, you’ll only need to register once.

Workshops are two hours long and all times are in Eastern Time unless otherwise stated.
All workshops will operate once a week at the same time for six weeks and require a 6-week commitment from all participants.

Write-In Workshops

Registration for all Write-Ins is now LIVE!

In addition to our 6-week workshops above, we offer several write-ins for participants who may not be able to commit to a longer-term experience. NYWC’s write-ins are 90-minute generative writing sessions that also provide the opportunity to read your work on the spot. Space is unlimited but registration is required for each individual session.
