Wall Street Journal: NYWC Youth Show Literary Bent

After six weeks of writing together in Fort Greene Park, NYWC’s youth community celebrated another creative summer at the 9th Annual Fort Greene Park Summer Literary Festival, where they shared their work alongside established writers from St. Joseph College’s Writers Foundry. The Master of Ceremonies was Fort Greene community figure Laurie Cumbo.

The Wall Street Journal’s Rebecca Bratburd joined us for the occasion, along with NYWC workshop leaders and volunteers, park-hoppers, parents, friends, and lovers of good writing. Check out her recap of the event in “Students Show Literary Bent.”
