The 2019 Red & Black Party!

We humbly invite you to attend NY Writers Coalition’s 2019 Red & Black Party on Friday, February 8 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m at the home of author Libba Bray in Park Slope, Brooklyn (address to be delivered upon RSVP).

Celebrate the tumult and ecstasy of love, loss, and passion!
Toast to your loved ones — or drown your sorrows with friends.

Fall head over heels for our guest and honoree of the night, magazine publisher and literary activist Ron Kavanaugh, founder and executive director of the Literary Freedom Project. LFP is a Bronx-based nonprofit arts organization that produces the One Book One Bronx reading group, hosts the Mosaic Literary Conference, publishes the renowned Mosaic literary magazine, and develops literature-based lesson plans and workshops. We’ll be honoring his undying commitment to NYC arts, literature, and social justice.
